Job Overview:

The coordinator utilizes a high degree of accuracy in obtaining all registration and financial data in order to provide necessary medical treatment and obtain proper reimbursement for the hospital.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school graduate or equivalent Medical terminology, office procedures, typing skills

Preferred:

Data entry and customer service experience

Scheduling Requirements:

Full Time Evening Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm Rotating holidays

Essential Functions:

Communicates with all customers exhibiting excellent customer service skills Interviews patients to assure proper scheduling, registration and certification of services on all patients in a timely and courteous manner Updates the Master Patient Index as needed Utilizes a high level of customer service in all aspects of the job
