Job Description

Single Case Agreement Coordinator The Single Case Agreement Coordinator verifies benefits and manages out-of-network submissions. Key responsibilities include tracking agreements, working with the contracting team, processing authorizations, and ensuring all documents meet requirements. The coordinator will handle tasks for assigned regions, resolve authorization issues, and communicate with other departments. Additional duties include auditing client lists and responding to emails and support tickets quickly. Strong organization and professionalism are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
The roles and responsibilities of an Administrative Assistant include:
Verify Benefits:
Confirm coverage and Out of Network (OON) benefits as needed.
Research Insurance Funders:
Contact insurance companies to understand ABA submission requirements, including forms, documents, and limitations.
Track Single Case Agreements:
Monitor and follow up on all OON submissions via calls or emails. Collaborate with
Contracting Team:
Work with the team to finalize Single Case Agreements post-approval. Manage Assigned Region(s): Handle tasks, emails, authorization requests, and audits for assigned regions.
Address Authorization Issues:
Monitor and escalate issues to the clinical team, Supervisor, or Director as needed.
Enter Authorizations:
Process authorizations, update records, and task relevant team members.
Communicate Professionally:
Maintain professionalism in interactions with other departments.
Ensure Document Sufficiency:
Review and ensure documents meet funder requirements; escalate issues as needed.
Complete Insurance Forms:
Accurately fill out and send insurance forms for signatures. Report to Karina (Director): Keep the Authorizations Manager informed of escalations and direct training questions as needed.
Audit Client Lists:
Ensure all clients in assigned regions have active authorizations and follow up on requests. Collaborate with area Auth Coordinator for
Reauths:
Use PowerBI to track expiring authorizations and work with area AC for outreaches to field team.
Escalate Concerns:
Promptly escalate unresolved issues Karina. Respond to
Emails and Support Tickets:
Address authorization-related emails and support tickets within one business day; escalate unresolved issues Other administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or administrative support role dealing with health insurance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software and processes efficiently. Demonstrates professionalism and exhibits excellent interpersonal skills.
