Customer Service Coordinator Directly Reports To:
Office Manager Status:
Hourly Description Operates multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls; directs callers to appropriate personnel, completes a variety of administrative duties, attends to visitors and clients in an efficient, friendly, and professional manner. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answers telephone, screen calls, takes and relays messages Provides information to callers, greets persons entering main office and directs visitors to correct destination Ensures knowledge of personnel whereabouts Responds to general questions and requests from guests and visitors or directs inquiries to the appropriate department. Maintains and updates the property Calendar of Events, including casino promotions, entertainment, special events, and other scheduled property activities. Coordinates with Marketing Manager and Food & Beverage Director to ensure event and promotional information is accurate, current, and communicated appropriately. Assist guests with entertainment and event ticket sales, including providing information regarding event dates, times, and ticketing information. Process cash and credit/debit card transactions. Issues tickets and receipts to guests. Maintains accountability of assigned cash drawer and ticket inventory. Balances and reconcile cash, credit/debit cards transactions, and ticket sales at the end of the shift. Organizes Conference Room bookings Assists other departments as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Computer literate in Microsoft Office Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures Knowledge of customer service practices and principles Good communications skills and professional personal presentation Great attention to detail and stress tolerance Honest, respectful, and trustworthy Bi-lingual, English/Spanish General math skills Ability to multi-task Must be able to work weekends (first shift) Schedule will vary depending on our racing season and/or when necessary. Experience Strong Customer service Experience in administrative or clerical activities Previous experience with switch board operations Cash handling, point-of-sale, or ticketing experience preferred.
