Big Hometown Motorsports•Marietta, OH (serving Marietta, Ohio and Parkersburg, West Virginia) Lead a High-Performance Service Department | Growth Opportunity | Performance Pay Big Hometown Motorsports is a top-performing powersports dealership serving the Mid-Ohio Valley and Tri-State region. We represent industry-leading brands including Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, CF MOTO, and Polaris, along with a massive pre-owned inventory. We are seeking a results-driven Service Manager to lead our high-volume service department , drive profitability, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. If you have experience in service management, fixed operations, dealership service, or shop management , this is your opportunity to take ownership of a growing operation. Position Overview The Service Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the service department , including revenue growth, technician productivity, customer satisfaction (CSI), and operational efficiency . This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage people, processes, and performance while building a culture of accountability and urgency. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of a powersports service department Drive labor sales, service revenue, and departmental profitability Monitor and improve technician efficiency, productivity, and billed hours Lead, train and develop service advisors and technicians Oversee repair order flow, scheduling, and shop capacity Ensure accurate diagnostics, estimates, and timely repair completion Maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI) and handle escalations Work closely with Parts Department to ensure parts availability and upsell opportunities Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs): Labor hours sold Effective labor rate (ELR) Technician efficiency & proficiency Comebacks and cycle time Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Qualifications 3+ years experience in Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or Shop Manager role Background in powersports, automotive, marine, or equipment dealership service Strong leadership and team development skills Proven ability to drive sales, increase efficiency, and improve profitability Experience with service writing, estimating, and dealership management systems (DMS) Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or motorsports Schedule Tuesday•

9:00 AM•6:00PM Saturday:
