High-Energy Service Counter Representative Fast-Paced Automotive Shop | Full-Time Are you a quick-thinking, high-energy communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a customer-focused Service Counter Representative to serve as the heartbeat of our repair shop. You'll be the bridge between our customers and our service technicians, ensuring smooth daily operations, clear communication, and an exceptional customer experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities •
Customer Engagement:
Greet incoming customers warmly, listen actively to their vehicle concerns, and check them in efficiently. •
Service Coordination:
Translate customer issues into clear, detailed work orders for the service technicians. •
Estimate & Sales:
Walk customers through recommended repairs, explain diagnostic findings clearly, and provide accurate cost and time estimates. •
Workflow Management:
Keep repair schedules moving on time by coordinating constantly with technicians and parts managers. •
Operations & Communication:
Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, process payments, and provide proactive progress updates to customers throughout the day. What We Are Looking For •
High Energy & Drive:
Ability to stay positive, multitask, and keep up with a high-volume, dynamic shop floor. •
Strong Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills with a talent for translating technical jargon into plain language. •
Customer-First Mindset:
Natural empathy and a calm demeanor when handling anxious or dissatisfied vehicle owners. •
Tech-Savvy:
Comfort using point-of-sale systems, digital shop management software, and multi-line phones. •
Industry Familiarity:
