Join our team and be a part of a forward-thinking organization that is redefining funeral service in our communicates. bout us DeJohn Funeral Homes is seeking a dynamic, meticulous, entrepreneurial thinking individual to join our team as an Operations, Customer Experience, and Marketing Coordinator. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, enhancing customer experiences, and supporting marketing initiatives within our funeral homes. This is a position of working "on" the organization more than "in" the daily environment. Collaborating, directing, strategically planning, implementing, and leading initiatives in these areas working with ownership and management team.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Develop, oversee and streamline daily operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with various departments to optimize resource utilization and maintain a prominent level of service quality.
  • Proactively use, learn, oversee, and train tools such as software programs to make the organization more efficient and effective for both internal and external customers. 2.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement:
  • Implement strategies to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty through thoughtful and compassionate service.
  • Interact with grieving families with empathy and sensitivity, providing support during their difficult times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to continually enhance family experiences and help lead the efforts to develop, implement, and train. 3.
  • Marketing Support:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities, both online and offline, to increase brand visibility.
  • Assist in creating engaging content for marketing materials, including social media posts, brochures, and website updates. 4.
  • Event Coordination:
  • Plan and execute events such as memorial services, open houses, and community outreach programs to strengthen relationships with clients and the community. 5.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Handle administrative tasks, including record-keeping, invoicing, and maintaining accurate customer databases.
  • Support management in various administrative capacities to ensure seamless business operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred OR detailed experience
  • Previous experience in operations, customer service, or marketing roles is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an important level of empathy.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
