In this role, you will lead daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales performance. Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service Manage employee scheduling, training, and development to foster a high-performing team Conduct interviews and participate in the recruiting process to attract top talent Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control records Implement merchandising strategies and oversee stock replenishment to maximize sales potential Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions and sales reporting while ensuring compliance with pricing policies Coordinate purchasing activities and manage supplier relationships for inventory procurement Monitor store performance metrics, manage budgets, and optimize operational efficiency Requirements Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments with supervising responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and team management Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Familiarity with retail math, sales management, merchandising, inventory control, and POS systems Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and budgeting processes Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail or grocery stores is preferred Knowledge of retail sales techniques including marketing strategies and pricing policies Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and maintain excellent customer service standards Join us as a Part-Time Manager and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering top-tier retail experiences!
