THE ROLE
The Account Manager owns the day-to-day relationship and service for our clients across life, disability, investments, and group benefits, supporting the broader strategies that protect both earned and unearned income. You'll be the link between clients, the planning team, and carriers, keeping accounts accurate, responsive, and well-served as clients move through income protection, retirement, estate, and business planning. This role rewards both relationship skill and operational precision, with bonus potential for strong performers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts Manage the account lifecycle: onboarding, servicing, policy changes, and renewals Support clients across the firm's strategy areas, including income protection, retirement, estate, and business planning Coordinate with carriers on applications, underwriting, claims, and issue resolution Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance across all accounts Help keep each client's Personal and Professional Balance Sheet current as their plan evolves Prepare quotes, proposals, and client-ready materials Partner with Financial Representatives to support client strategies and opportunities Ensure every client interaction reflects the firm's standard of care
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of relevant experience in insurance or financial services account management Preferred licensing: Life, Accident & Health; Property & Casualty; and/or Series licenses (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of Protection First Planning Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with CRM systems, carrier portals, and Microsoft Office Self-motivated, with a client-first mindset

Days 1 to 30: Onboard to our book of business, systems, and carrier relationships; learn our service standards Days 30 to 60: Take ownership of assigned accounts, handling renewals and service requests with team support Days 60 to 90: Manage your accounts independently and begin identifying opportunities to deepen client relationships
