Services Coordinator DCFCM • Diakon Community Services Pottsville, PA Community Services Full Time, Days
Hours/Pay Period:
75 Req # 10326 Diakon is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. We are a non-profit organization which includes Diakon Child, Family, and Community Ministries and Diakon Affordable Housing.
General Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties supporting all programs of Community Services. Schedules and assigns staff and volunteers for the delivery of Meals on Wheels routes and client home visits. Accounts for Meals on Wheels client "no answers" and responds to emergency situations. Prepares client records and maintains file system in a timely manner. Receives and responds to telephone inquiries.
Education/Training:
An Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field normally required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in related positions normally required.
ADA:
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
