Job Description

Overview We're looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Customer Service & Social Media Coordinator to serve as the frontline ambassador for our brand. In this role, you'll deliver exceptional customer service while managing our social media presence — blending client engagement with creative digital storytelling to help us stand out in the landscaping industry. This is a hybrid position based out of Waynesville, NC.
What You'll Do:
Customer Service Provide prompt, friendly, and professional customer service via phone, text, email, website chat, and in-person interactions Help with scheduling jobs and follow up on estimates Record job completions and update client records Handle basic invoicing and payment follow-up Respond to online reviews and inquiries Monitor website chat and respond promptly to incoming messages Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners Social Media & Marketing Travel to job sites to capture before and after photos and videos for content when needed Maintain an organized library of before and after photos and videos by job Create and schedule engaging posts across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms Design graphics and promotional content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software Edit video content to create compelling visual stories across digital channels Implement social media campaigns including Facebook Advertising to grow engagement and attract new clients Monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback across digital channels Use Google Analytics or similar tools to track performance and optimize our online presence Maintain a consistent posting schedule that reflects our brand Support email marketing campaigns as needed What We're Looking For Strong communication skills — friendly, professional, and responsive Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar graphic design tools Experience with video editing and photography for digital content Comfortable with social media platforms and management tools (Facebook, Instagram, Hootsuite, Buffer, Facebook Business Manager) Familiarity with SEO basics, Google Analytics, or web analytics a plus Organized and able to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball Ability to craft compelling written content for posts, blogs, and promotional materials Experience with scheduling or CRM tools a plus (we use Jobber) Knowledge of landscaping, hydroseeding, or construction industry a plus but not required
Details Pay:
$18/hour + bonus for jobs won
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Location:
Hybrid — majority will be work from home in-person will also be required Appalachian Hydroseeding & Landscaping is an equal opportunity employer.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
