Job Description

Summary:
Manages all aspects of service & repair projects. Reports to President, General Manager and directly to the Operations Manager. The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities relating to managing a service/repair department, strategic planning, and client customer service. This position also requires selling the company's services and performing small repairs as needed.
Communication:
Respond and follow thru on emails and correspondence through our CRM and CompanyCam. Represent the company in a professional manner. Assist customers with their inquiries or concerns with regards to ongoing projects; takes ownership for customer problem resolution. Maintains regular communication with the Operations Manager, General Manager, staff and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business. Maintains company reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner, returning phone calls promptly, etc. Communicates with all employees in a positive and respectful manner. Assures that all necessary information pertaining to jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (i.e. job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.) Set and achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates and gross profits.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the service team, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving performance targets. As a hybrid role this requires a combination of technical expertise and selling the company's services.
This includes tasks such as:
1. Responding to customer requests for service. Scheduling time to make the initial site assessment. 2. If possible, making repairs on the spot. If not, scheduling the repair team or sub to return. 3. Manage the repair crew and any subcontractors needed. Including scheduling, job planning, and customer communication. 4. Estimate and present pricing for services to the customers while in the home. This includes being able to provide repair and full replacement pricing. 5. Assist in business development and growing the service department. Promote, foster and maintain open communication among all project team members, consultants, inspectors, applicable agencies, and the supporting subcontractors and trade participants. Utilizes all the tools and technology required by the company to maintain a smooth process. (i.e. CRM, CompanyCam, and other software programs) Adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Best-Practices in the deployment of all work-related activities. Provide a pro-active and positive Client interface throughout the delivery of services. Quality control accountability to ensure field compliance with all associated project specifications and technical requirements, including subcontractor activities. Coordinate, support, and verify all projects are closed out to the satisfaction of customer and Company. Participation in lessons learned sessions, operational development initiatives, and best practice training to support a continuous improvement working philosophy. Initiate continuous improvement objectives and embrace technology enhancements. Maintain a willingness to reinvest in yourself with continuing education and professional development initiatives (i.e. Lead Certification, OSHA Certification, etc.) as recommended by the Company. Other duties as assigned by management. Sales and Estimating Responsibilities Attends all sales appointments on time. Returns incoming phone calls in a professional manner and within 8 business hours of call. Provides product differentiation to customer throughout selling process (assists customer in understanding exactly what they are paying for and why it is a superior product.) Effectively sells the company's services to the customer in a competitive atmosphere by understanding the customers' needs and selling to satisfy those needs. Helps jobs stay "happy and under budget." Visits jobs sold as needed to maintain relationship with customers and crew. Prioritizes work and actions in order to achieve established sales goals. Stays current with market technology and trends. Utilizes all the tools and technology required by the company to maintain a smooth process. (i.e. CRM, CompanyCam, and other software programs)
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma Valid driver's license (limited minor infractions only) 5-10 years in managing projects similar in nature OSHA and Lead certifications preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting salary range is $65-80k, varying by experience Position is also eligible for uncapped performance bonuses - top performers can earn over $150k total Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with company match, and paid time off

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
