Job Description

Summary/Objective The Service Account Manager acts as a sales representative for After Sales and Service using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to help and assist customers in applying Optima products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation. Essential Functions Establishes, fosters and maintains contacts at assigned customers, researches customer needs and develops applications of products and services. Prepares quotations for possible service offerings and equipment upgrades. Identifies opportunities at customer sites and finds solutions by working with internal departments to satisfy customer needs. During the Design/Engineering Phase of new equipment, the Service Account Manager looks at potential opportunities for training, maintenance or service contracts and works directly with the engineering and spare parts teams to generate spare parts lists and recommendations for the customer. Sees projects through to successful completion ensuring customer satisfaction after delivery of new machines and equipment upgrades. The Service Account Manager looks for Process optimization Warranty expansion Spare part support Machine upgrade opportunities Software upgrades Efficiency improvement programs Remote and on-site service support Opportunities to protect and/or increase spare part sales Competencies Technical Capacity in mechanical, electrical and machine processes Customer/Client Focus Communication Proficiency Initiative Collaboration Financial Management Presentation Skills Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment requiring the routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. This job will also require frequent visits to customer sites for meetings and discussions in an office environment and production areas of the factories. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20lbs. 6 Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. The hours of work and days typically encompass our "core" hours which are between the hours of 8:00am and 3:45pm Monday through Friday. Some weekend travel may be required to meet expected timing and schedule of job duties Travel Some travel is expected for this position (30-40%) which includes travel to various locations both domestically and internationally as an integral part of the job duties. Required Education and Experience Associates degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field and 5 years of field experience Technical knowledge of packaging machines and the disposable hygiene products industry is preferred. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
