- Virtual Care Coordinator About Us Honor Pet is a mission-driven startup in Los Angeles providing dignified end-of-life care for pets and the people who love them.
Under one roof, we offer pre-planning and quality-of-life support, euthanasia, water cremation (aquamation), memorial options, and grief support. Position Overview We're seeking a Care Coordinator who will serve as the heart of our client experience. This virtual role combines administrative excellence with direct client interaction, requiring someone who can seamlessly manage logistics while providing compassionate support to families during one of life's most difficult moments. You'll be coordinating every aspect of care from initial family contact through final services. Role Description Handle client calls with empathy and professionalism Communicate with clients via phone, text, and email throughout their care journey Schedule appointments and coordinate timing with families and veterinary teams Assist families with purchasing memorial items Enter and maintain accurate records Coordinate with veterinarians and other care team members Manage appointment scheduling and logistics Handle documentation and follow-up communications Support general medical operations and cremation operations as needed Incredible attention to detail and high level of personal responsibility. Comfort with multiple technology platforms and willingness to learn new systems. Previous customer service and/or veterinary experience preferred but not required. Compassionate, grounded demeanor with a strong sense of integrity. Able to handle sensitive and difficult communications with care and empathy while not getting emotionally "burned out" when doing so
