We represent real people across South Carolina who have been hurt because someone else didn't do their job. We don't take every case. The ones we do take, we work hard, move fast, and see through to the end. About the Role This is not a receptionist role. We're looking for a closer. At Gus Anastopoulo Law Firm, the Client Service Manager is the first voice a potential client hears, and the person responsible for turning that call into a signed case. You'll manage the pipeline of incoming leads: you qualify cases, overcome objections, execute retainer agreements, and manage a live pipeline of leads from first contact to signed client. If you're the kind of person who follows up every single day, who remembers the details of someone's story, and who doesn't let a good case fall through the cracks, then this role was built for you. Prior experience in personal injury intake, legal intake, or a high-volume sales/conversion role is a plus, but not required. Fluency in Spanish is a must. We have a quickly growing Spanish-speaking clientele and must be able to serve these clients. We'll provide all training needed to succeed. What you'll own Intake calls: Answer inbound calls from potential clients, gather facts, qualify cases, and close sign-ups — on the call, not after it.
Incoming Client Calls:
You will be the first point of contact for all calls coming in to the firm. You will be responsible for helping clients who call in by routing them to their case manager or attorney as appropriate.
Non-client call handling:
Route adjusters, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors accurately and professionally. Web chat & form response: Monitor and respond to all incoming web submissions within 5 minutes. Every inquiry gets a real person, even if we cannot sign their case.
Case qualification:
Apply the firm's qualification criteria independently to determine sign-up, attorney review, or referral — you have full authority.
Pipeline management:
Maintain daily follow-up on every unsigned lead for up to 14 business days using our CRM (Lead Docket).
Administrative operations:
Manage the firm calendar, incoming mail, faxes, and document uploads in FileVine.
What It Takes Hard skills:
Strong verbal and written communication: You must be warm, confident, and personable on the phone. It is important that you clearly and effectively communicate with all callers.
Empathetic and caring:
People call in after they have suffered a tragedy or setback. It is crucial that you show patience and empathy. Ability to learn and maintain CRM workflows (Lead Docket, FileVine, VineSign) Organization skills: manage a live lead pipeline and never miss a follow-up, manage incoming and outgoing documents. Self motivated and
Open Minded:
You hold yourself accountable for your tasks and are open to improving processes. Comfortable handling objections and guiding people through a signing process The mindset we hire for:
Accountability:
Every lead in your pipeline is your responsibility. If it stalls, you own it.
Grit:
The person who says "I need to think about it" is not lost. You follow up. Every day.
Integrity:
You don't overpromise. You don't mislead. If you don't know the answer, you say so and get back to them.
Growth:
You study your calls, learn from objections, and get better every week. What You Should Know This is an in-office role in North Charleston, SC. This is a fast paced environment. Calls must be answered within 3 rings. Web chats within 5 minutes. This is a real-time environment. You'll be expected to execute retainer agreements during calls — not after them. We use technology to eliminate the mundane so you can focus on what actually matters: the people calling us.
