Do you enjoy being the go-to person who keeps everything running smoothly? Interstate Office Products is currently seeking an Account Coordinator. In this position, you'll support account management, product sourcing, and project coordination—serving as a key point of contact for communication between clients and internal teams. Here's what you'll do: Account Coordination Act as the primary information hub between Account Managers, Interior Designers, operations, and clients. Conduct intake and basic needs assessments for new requests; gather end-user requirements and ensure commitment to facilities standards for reuse of existing furniture and new product specifications. Attend onsite meetings with clients to assess needs, take measurements, and capture relevant photos. Generate quotes and process orders at the direction of the Account Manager and Interior Designer. Communicate and manage the demos process from delivery to pick-up for final product selection and ordering. Sales & Product Support Engage in product discovery for niche or specialized product needs across the sales and design team. Maintain working knowledge of standard product offerings within served accounts and help guide product specification efforts with the Account Manager and Interior Designer. Support administrative tasks related to account documentation, sample handling, and sales coordination. Project Coordination Provide regular updates to Account Managers and the Operations Manager on the status of orders, shipments, and installation timelines. Assist in the collection and preparation of project documentation, including install drawings, delivery sequences, and logistics plans. Communicate directly with clients regarding order progress, installation dates, and any changes, delays, or punch list resolutions.

Showroom & Sample Management Assist in managing showroom displays, moving and rearranging pieces as needed to reflect current presentations. Maintain a clean, professional, and prepared showroom environment. Here's what you'll need: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, project or office management, sales or merchandising, or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the preferred formal education. Experience with project-based or order-based billing processes. Familiarity in office furniture, logistics, operations coordination, or a related industry a plus. Valid driver's license Here's what you'll ne ed to be successful: Proficient in Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP or order management systems). Comfortable with onsite visits, field measurements, and light physical activity (lifting samples, rearranging furniture, etc.). Communicates ideas clearly and persuasively, ensuring alignment among clients and internal teams Upholds a high standard of excellence by maintaining high attention to detail throughout every phase of work. Collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams while fostering strong, trusted client relationships. Applies strategic and creative thinking to navigate complex challenges and deliver thoughtful solutions. Provides a responsive and relationship-focused service experience to clients and external partners.
