Our goal is not simply to keep machines running — our goal is to create a clean, safe, respectful, and professional environment where customers feel taken care of every time they walk through the door. We are looking for a strong, dependable manager who can step in, lead the team, protect the standards, and help carry the vision forward. This position is for someone who takes pride in doing things right, notices details others miss, and understands that leadership is not just a title — it is ownership. Position Overview The Laundromat Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, leading a team of approximately 6-8 employees, maintaining high cleanliness and service standards, handling customer concerns, monitoring equipment, and making sure the laundromat runs smoothly every day. We need someone who can see the bigger picture, understand the standard we are building, and take personal responsibility for carrying that standard into the daily operation. The right person will not need to be chased. They will be self-motivated, organized, honest, proactive, and capable of leading by example. Key Responsibilities Manage daily laundromat operations and ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and running efficiently. Lead, train, and hold accountable a team of 6-8 employees. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, customer service, professionalism, and employee performance. Quality Control over all wash and fold orders Handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism. Monitor washers, dryers, vending areas, restrooms, floors, folding areas, and overall facility appearance. Identify maintenance issues quickly and communicate or coordinate repairs as needed. Create and manage employee schedules. Make sure employees complete assigned duties correctly and consistently. Help improve systems, procedures, and customer experience. Protect the company's standards, reputation, and culture. Step in where needed and lead from the front. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a person with strong character, strong work ethic, and strong leadership ability.
The ideal candidate will be:
Dependable and trustworthy. Clean, organized, and detail-oriented. Comfortable leading and correcting employees when needed. Able to hold a team accountable without creating drama. Customer-service minded. Calm under pressure. Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision. Honest, respectful, and professional. Able to see the vision and help implement it daily. Willing to treat the business like it matters. This is not a position for someone who only wants to "clock in and clock out." This is for someone who takes ownership, notices what needs to be done, and makes sure it gets done. Leadership Expectations We expect our manager to set the tone for the entire laundromat. That means showing up on time, communicating clearly, keeping the store sharp, treating customers with respect, and making sure employees understand the standard. We believe a great manager does three things well: They protect the standard. They lead the people. They improve the operation. If you are the kind of person who sees a problem and takes action instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, you may be the right fit. Experience Previous management or supervisory experience required. Customer service experience required. Laundromat, retail, hospitality, cleaning, restaurant, or service-business experience is a plus. Must be comfortable managing people, handling customer issues, and working in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Reliable transportation. Strong communication skills. Ability to work weekends or flexible hours as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and stay active during the shift. Basic phone, scheduling, and communication skills. Must be dependable, honest, and professional. Why Join Us ? This is an opportunity to help lead a business with high standards and a clear vision. We are not looking for average. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of building something excellent. If you are dependable, driven, organized, and ready to lead a team with pride, we would like to hear from you.
