Monday-Friday Pay:
DOE Public Plumbing is a growing plumbing company in Amarillo looking for a dependable, organized and personable Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to join our office team. This position is the first point of contact for many of our customers and plays an important role in keeping our service technicians organized throughout the day. We are looking for someone who is reliable, communicates well, can stay calm when things get busy and is comfortable managing multiple tasks at once. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming customer phone calls professionally and promptly Gather information from customers regarding plumbing service needs Schedule service appointments Dispatch plumbers and helpers to service calls Communicate schedule changes and job updates with field technicians Keep customers updated regarding technician arrival times and scheduling changes Enter and maintain accurate customer and job information in our scheduling software Collect customer payments by phone when needed Follow up with customers regarding estimates, scheduling and completed service Help ensure technicians have the information needed for each job Communicate with the office team regarding urgent jobs, schedule changes and customer concerns Assist with general office tasks as needed What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong phone and customer service skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable communicating with both customers and field employees Ability to handle frustrated customers professionally Basic computer and typing skills Ability to learn new software and processes Good judgment and problem-solving skills Positive, team-oriented attitude Previous experience in dispatching, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, construction, property management or another home-service industry is a plus, but plumbing experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. Experience with service software is a plus. This Position Would Be a Great Fit for

Enjoys talking to people, likes keeping things organized, doesn't get overwhelmed when the phone is ringing and plans change, and takes pride in helping a team have a successful day. Our office and field teams work closely together, so communication and reliability are extremely important. Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday.
Compensation:
DOE Opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation as the employee becomes proficient in our dispatching systems and daily operations.
