Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Breeder's Assistant to support our equine reproduction program through administrative coordination, client communication, and record management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced veterinary environment while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Client Communication Communicate with clients regarding breeding schedules and updates Provide daily breeding and mare status updates Gather and organize client information Send appointment and breeding reminders Scheduling Maintain the daily appointment schedule Coordinate breeding appointments and procedures Billing & Invoicing Prepare invoices Process stallion collection and breeding charges Invoice hospitalized mares on a daily basis Semen Shipment & Ordering Create shipping labels Package cooled semen shipments Coordinate timely shipment and delivery Coordinate with other breeding farms as needed Medical Records Maintain accurate patient records Enter and update breeding notes and medical information Organize client files and documentation Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail Comfortable using computers and medical record software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Customer service experience is a plus
