Thermo King Central Virginia has an immediate opening for Service Department Service Writer for our Ashland VA location. Handle all duties assigned to Service Writer Position. Receive customer equipment issues over phone and counter and address timely and professionally. Open work orders completely with all customer and equipment information including work to be performed. Track work order status through completion and keep customer informed of updates on status of repair. Validate warranty on equipment and track warranty work order status. Keep detailed reports on Excel when needed on service department data. Work with Shop Foreman on dispatching and issuing of all jobs to be completed. Skills Strong Customer Service Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Multitasking Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 25lbs, bending, and walking on uneven terrain (gravel)
