  • $60,0000 About Us Qahwa Cafe is a community-focused coffee shop dedicated to high-quality coffee, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment for all guests.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager to lead daily operations inside ADAMS Center, drive revenue, and help grow our customer experience, marketing presence, and team culture. Position Summary The Qahwa Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining product quality, and driving overall business performance. This role requires a balance of leadership, operational excellence, creative marketing collaboration, and a passion for community building. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, schedule, and support baristas and front-of-house staff. Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Maintain high standards of coffee quality, food safety, and cleanliness. Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships. Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally. Monitor sales performance and support revenue growth initiatives. Maintain labor and operational efficiency within budget targets. Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work culture. Collaborate closely with the Qahwa Programs Manager to design and execute creative campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive foot traffic to the cafe. Other responsibilities as directed by management. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a cafe management, restaurant, or retail management position. Proven ability to collaborate on community-facing programs, marketing campaigns, or event promotions to increase business traffic. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve under pressure. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management tools. Passion for coffee, community, and hospitality. High school diploma required; hospitality, marketing, or business background preferred.
