Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, personable, and dependable K ey Account & Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This position will play an important role in supporting one of our largest customer accounts while also serving as a primary point of contact for incoming customer communication. The right person will be comfortable talking with customers on the phone, communicating clearly by email, processing orders accurately, coordinating information across departments, and helping solve problems as they arise. We are a small, growing manufacturing company, so this is a hands-on role. While customer service and key account coordination will be the primary focus, this person should also be comfortable jumping in to assist with other administrative responsibilities when needed. This is a full-time, fully in-office position. This role is not remote or hybrid, and regular attendance in the office is an important part of the position. What You'll Do Serve as a primary point of contact for a key customer account Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner Respond to customer emails and requests promptly Receive, review, and process customer orders Track orders and help ensure customer requirements are communicated accurately Coordinate customer needs with project management, engineering, production, accounting, and other office staff Follow up on open questions, orders, and outstanding items Help resolve customer service issues and identify practical solutions Maintain accurate customer and order information Assist with documentation, data entry, filing, and general administrative duties Learn and work within several company software systems and online platforms Look for ways to use available tools and technology to work more efficiently and stay organized Assist other members of the office team as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people but is equally comfortable managing details behind the scenes. Friendly, professional, and confident communicating over the phone A strong written communicator Highly organized and able to keep track of multiple open items Detail-oriented, particularly when entering and processing orders Comfortable taking ownership of customer requests and following them through to completion A practical problem solver who can figure out what needs to happen next Comfortable working with computers and learning new software Able to move easily between email, spreadsheets, business software, online systems, and other digital tools Curious and willing to learn new ways of working as technology evolves Comfortable in a small-business environment where responsibilities occasionally extend beyond a narrowly defined job description Dependable, responsive, and willing to help wherever needed Experience Previous experience in customer service, order processing, account coordination, office administration, or a similar role is preferred. Experience working with a manufacturing, construction, distribution, or business-to-business company is helpful but not required. More important than experience with a particular software system is being comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly. Fully in-office; this is not a remote or hybrid position Monday-Friday work environment
Pay:
$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
