Job Description

Organization Overview METCO provides complete design & installation, repair & upgrades, testing & compliance, parts & supplies, tank removals, and environmental consulting for all types of fuel systems. Our primary customers include retail gas stations in WI, MN, and IA. Position Summary This position provides support to the service department, particularly in organizing various activities, tasks, and resources to ensure smooth operations. Specific functions will vary, but the core responsibilities typically involve assisting day-to-day operations, coordinating activities, and facilitating communication. Essential Roles & Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service. Facilitate communication with field technicians. Create and process service work orders. Collect and code technician time sheets. Process paperwork and manage data. Process and invoice completed work orders. Provide correspondence with regulatory inspectors. Monitor field technician certifications. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Experience working in office setting. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. Ability to analyze problems and develop viable solutions. Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required. Ability to clearly communicate with a wide variety of individuals. Ability to operate a personal computer using standard and customized software applications, including being proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Office hours Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30 Repeat the same movements. The ability to lift and move up to 15 pounds at times.
