Job Description

Job Description As a Ramp Service Agent, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of our aircraft and cargo. This role is crucial to the overall operation of Alaska Airlines, and you will work in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and communication are key. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading baggage, guiding aircraft to and from the gate, and performing safety checks. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the ramp area.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload baggage and cargo from aircraft. Guide aircraft to and from the gate. Perform safety checks on equipment and vehicles. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the ramp area. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments. Assist with the operation of ground support equipment. Follow all safety and security procedures. Work in various weather conditions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
