Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our client in Alpine, AL. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, ERP experience, and comfort managing high-volume orders to support domestic and international clients in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay & Schedule Pay:
$18-$23/hr,
DOE Schedule:
Day shift, Monday-Friday. What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for domestic and international customers, addressing orders, questions, complaints, and delivery updates with clear, professional communication. Enter and manage customer orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), verifying pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and product codes prior to release. Track order progress, ensure timely customer confirmations, and maintain accurate documentation in the ERP system. Coordinate with production, laboratory, sales, and logistics teams on delivery timelines, custom color/sample requests, priorities, and shipment scheduling, including international shipments and customs documentation. Support Accounts Receivable tasks such as invoice checks, data entry, and basic reconciliations, providing backup coverage during absences or peak workload. Maintain strong customer relationships and handle challenging situations, including delivery delays, with professionalism and resilience. What You'll Bring 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, production planning/pricing, or shipping and freight coordination in a manufacturing environment. Strong ERP experience, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (training available). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to stay calm and solution-oriented, including with upset or demanding customers. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and reliability, particularly with high-volume data entry. Basic financial/accounting understanding to support Accounts Receivable tasks. High school diploma or GED required. Pre-employment drug screening and/or background check.
