Customer Service Representative - Foley, AL

City Produce started in 1958 as a retail produce store in Fort Walton Beach, FL, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, and dairy. Essential Functions:

Answer calls professionally Respond to customer inquiries Research required information using available resources Handle and resolve customer complaints Provide customer with product and service information Enter customers information Process orders and forms Identify an escalate prior issues Route calls to appropriate resources Follow up on customers calls where necessary Complete call logs Take orders by obtaining and verifying information Sell additional products by recognizing opportunities to upsell accounts; explaining latest items or featured products.

Education & Experience, and Competencies:

High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 3 years successful related sales experience with an understanding and knowledge of produce food service or retail related products (as assigned). Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong listening skills Influencing and negotiation skills Problem solving skills Organized and attention to detail approach Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office and common E-Mail systems

Physical Demands:

Stand or sit for long periods of time Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs Work in cold and wet cooler environment for extended periods of time

Work Schedule:

1st Shift (7:00am-3:00pm) Monday-Friday - (One Saturday per month)

Compensation:

$17/hour
