As the Service Advisor, you'll serve as the vital link between our customers and their dream RV experience by managing the service lifecycle with transparency and care. You must have a genuine passion for customer service and use empathy to turn complex service needs into positive experiences. Our Service Advisors are responsible for accurately identifying and documenting customer concerns, communicating repair needs and costs, coordinating the workflow of the service department, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the entire service process. Empathy is essential for this role. Ultimately, you will act as a quality control representative and be the primary point of contact with the customer.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Parts Department and Technicians to gather accurate repair needs and realistic timelines. Ensure the Warranty Department receives precise documentation to facilitate seamless claims with manufacturers. Manage the delivery of products and services from check-in to final quality control. Maintain the smooth operation of the service department by balancing technical requirements with customer expectations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education or training in automotive technology is a plus. Previous experience as a Service Writer/Advisor in the automotive, RV, or marine industry is strongly preferred. Knowledge of RV systems, components, and basic maintenance/repair procedures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances) is a significant advantage. Able to navigate a computer, the internet, and email. Proficiency with computer software related to automotive service management is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks smoothly are required. Must present a professional demeanor, be punctual, and be able to work weekends and holidays, if needed.
