Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier, Stocker, and Customer Service Associate! In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, ensures smooth checkout experiences, and maintains organized shelves. Whether handling transactions, stocking merchandise, or assisting shoppers with product information, your proactive approach will drive sales and foster customer loyalty. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service through clear communication and friendly phone etiquette Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure attractive displays and easy access for shoppers Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform basic retail math to ensure accurate cash handling and register balancing Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and replenishing stock as needed Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and guiding shoppers through store layouts Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team tasks or assisting in training new staff Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math enhances your effectiveness in this role Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and collaborating with team members Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos will help you succeed in creating an inviting shopping atmosphere This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while making a positive impact on our customers' shopping experience.
