Job Description

You'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, mitigating service problems, and providing an exemplary customer experience. Compensation:
$14 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the sales lead to stay up-to-date on service and product knowledge Keep customer satisfaction levels high by providing accurate information, resolving issues, and mitigating complaints Create records of customer interactions and follow up to ensure all questions have been answered Communicate frequent customer suggestions to the team to troubleshoot Follow scripts when managing challenging customer issues and escalate to the appropriate party when needed Answer a high volume of incoming calls with a positive and professional attitude Provide friendly, helpful customer support and problem resolution Handle incoming sales calls and follow provided scripts accurately Manage accounts receivable: send reminders, follow up on late payments, maintain AR records, and provide reports to your direct supervisor Work on various projects as assigned (administrative tasks, special campaigns, etc.) Accurately update and manage customer information in our CRM system (FieldRoutes) Utilize Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.) effectively Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent service delivery
Qualifications:
Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent Experience working in a customer-oriented atmosphere Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills Previous experience in customer service, sales, or AR preferred Confident, clear, and friendly communication skills—especially on the phone Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems (FieldRoutes experience is a plus!) Comfortable using Google Workspace is a plus (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, etc.) Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A positive, can-do attitude and a team player mentality About Company Bama Exterminating is a family-owned and operated company that has been providing comprehensive pest control services to residential and commercial customers in West Alabama for nearly a century.
