Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their service requests. Provide clear explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance procedures, including auto diagnostics, oil changes, brake repair, transmission work, suspension, alignment, tire service, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs. Prepare detailed auto estimating and service writing to ensure accurate communication of costs and scope of work. Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services. Upsell additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and safety while respecting customer preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper records of all service-related financial activities. Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive repair processes, dealership policies, and current industry trends to provide expert guidance to customers. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management and automotive diagnostics. Mechanical knowledge across various systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, alignments, tire services, shocks & struts, diesel engines, air brakes, and auto body repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally. Experience in auto estimating software and sales techniques to promote additional services effectively. Familiarity with automotive repair procedures such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
