We opened our doors in the Summer 2023 and have already established a great clientele and are continuing to grow. We are looking to add to our team of fabulous client service representatives and want to find the right fit for our practice. Our practice is focused on caring for dogs and cats. We are a two doctor private practice whose focus is high quality medicine and patient care. We understand how important the veterinary team is to a successful veterinary practice, and we want to create an environment of support, teamwork, fun, work-life balance, and growth for both the hospital and our individual staff members. Our hospital is in a great location (corner of Campbell and Bascom Ave.) and is fully equipped with 4 exam rooms, electronic medical records (Shepherd), digital x-ray including dental, dedicated dental suite, in-house lab equipment, ultrasound, anesthetic monitoring equipment (including but not limited to ECG, ETCO2, BP, pulse ox), surgical suite, and large break room and more. Most appointments will be scheduled as 30 minutes with flexibility for drop-off appointments for current patients with urgent concerns. We want to help as many pets as we can, but understand burn-out is real and we want to have a balanced work environment so we can really focus on high quality care for each of our patients. We regularly work with specialists in the area on both a consultation and referral basis so that our patients receive the best possible care the Bay Area has to offer. What we are looking for Motivated, detail oriented, enthusiastic, team player who is excited to help continue to build our practice by providing excellent customer service to our clients. Expectations for CSR/Receptionist Ability to multitask (phones, appointments, payments), prioritize & stay on top of multiple responsibilities Friendly, engaging and attentive with clients and their pets. Understand basic medical terminology and/or be willing to learn! Willingness to work weekend (Saturday) hours. We will happily train the right person! What you'd be doing These are some examples of what you would be doing in this position, but tasks are not limited to this list. Client Service Representative/Receptionist Answer phones- scheduling appointments, fielding calls to help determine degree of urgency, taking messages for DVMs Checking clients in and out- making sure appropriate paperwork is filled out, discussing estimates and collecting payments. Assisting medical staff with filling medications with appropriate documentation and paperwork. Helping maintain the smooth flow of patients/clients through the hospital.
