Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic sales team as a Cashier and Customer Service Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming environment for every shopper. In this role, you will be the friendly face at the checkout counter, ensuring smooth transactions and delivering exceptional service that keeps customers coming back. Your multitasking skills and positive attitude will help drive sales, promote products, and maintain an organized atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail skills while making a real impact on our customers' shopping experience. Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision and confidence, ensuring proper cash handling procedures Assist with product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and participating in periodic stock counts Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are key Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in grocery stores or retail environments will be advantageous Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service!
