Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a Temporary Customer Service Support team member to assist our front office during a seasonal increase in customer service activity. This role supports customer communication, order processing, and general administrative tasks to help ensure smooth daily operations. The position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. This is a fixed-term, part-time assignment expected to last approximately 3 months , with an anticipated start in July 2026, depending on business needs. This role requires the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, in order to support customer phone calls and front office interactions. What You'll Do In this role, you will support our customer service and front office team by: Customer Communication Answering incoming customer phone calls as the first point of contact Routing calls to the appropriate team member when needed Handling basic customer service requests Providing basic quotes for standard catalog items using provided tools and pricing Escalating complex requests to the appropriate department Order & Tracking Support Entering basic customer orders into the system Responding to order status questions Providing shipment tracking information to customers Administrative Support Filing invoices and maintaining organized records Assisting with mail distribution Supporting office supply tracking and ordering General Support Assisting with day-to-day front office needs Supporting customer service operations as assigned What We're Looking For Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) Professional and courteous phone presence Basic computer skills (data entry, email, systems navigation) High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to stay organized in a busy office environment Ability to follow instructions and established procedures Dependable and punctual work ethic Customer service or office experience is helpful, but not required. Schedule Monday through Thursday 10:45 AM - 4:30 PM Approximately 23 hours per week Paid 10-minute rest break during shift Occasional additional hours may be available based on business needs Position Type & Duration Part-time, fixed-term (seasonal) assignment Expected duration: approximately 3 months This role is not a permanent position and does not include benefits Compensation $20.00 - $21.50 per hour, depending on experience Why This Role Works Well Consistent weekday schedule No weekend requirement Front office, structured environment Training provided Great short-term opportunity for administrative or customer service experience How to Apply Please submit your application with a resume or brief summary of experience.
