The Opportunity We're looking for a customer-focused Customer Service / Inside Sales Associate to serve as a key connection between our customers, Sales team, and internal operations. In this role, you'll manage the customer order process from entry through shipment, support returns and repairs, and build strong relationships with key customers. You'll work across departments to solve problems, keep orders moving, and create solutions that make it easier for our customers to do business with TDK-Lambda. What You'll Do Manage customer orders and RMAs from initial request through processing, scheduling, and shipment. Review orders for accuracy and compliance with applicable terms, conditions, contracts, and ISO requirements. Enter and maintain customer orders in our ERP system, assign delivery dates, and provide timely order acknowledgments. Monitor order and RMA backlogs to ensure products and repairs remain on schedule. Proactively communicate order status, shipping updates, delays, and changes to customers. Partner with customers and Sales Representatives to manage requests for expedited orders, cancellations, returns, and other order changes. Develop strong relationships with key customers and understand their unique business needs. Identify creative solutions and process improvements that enhance the customer experience. Coordinate new customer setup and required documentation with the Finance team. Support Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representative firms with customer information, reports, and other sales-related needs. Respond to nontechnical customer inquiries through the Inside Sales phone line. Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Logistics, and other internal teams to resolve customer and order-related issues. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree, associate degree, technical education, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, order management, sales support, or a related role. Experience working with ERP or order-management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Understanding of supply and demand, order flow, and the movement of products from factory to customer. Familiarity with shipping, carriers, service levels, and cost-effective delivery options. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and administrative skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting B2B or manufacturing customers. Experience managing purchase orders, RMAs, order backlogs, and customer contracts. Experience supporting Tier 1 or strategic customers. Experience working with Sales Representatives or Regional Sales teams. Advanced Excel skills, including creating spreadsheets and reports. Experience identifying or implementing process improvements.
