Weekend Customer Service Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced retail environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and handle customer inquiries will be essential in ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and resolving issues. Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Supervise and train new staff members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Assist with merchandising and stocking of products on the sales floor to maintain an organized shopping environment. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock management. Maintain effective phone etiquette while handling customer calls or inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately. Experience with POS systems is highly desirable. Supervising experience is beneficial for overseeing team operations. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail math principles is advantageous.
