Customer Service Representative

Our client, a logistics and freight management company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Fullerton, CA . In this role, you will provide exceptional support to both internal and external customers by managing communications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and transfer to appropriate departments as needed Assist customers with freight status updates and shipment inquiries Prepare customer reports and provide shipment-related documentation Verify destination and billing information for shipments Process and maintain shipping documents including Delivery Orders (DO) and Bills of Lading (BOL) Support customer reporting and communication processes for key accounts Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure overall customer satisfaction Generate correspondence and gather information needed to resolve customer concerns or disputes Maintain and update customer information within company systems

Requirements:

1-2 years of customer service experience in an office environment required Experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain preferred Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute with high accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
