Hyundai Service Advisor (Glendora)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Hyundai Service Advisor to join our dealership service team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, helping customers understand their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs while ensuring an exceptional ownership experience. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally when they arrive for service. Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and requested services. Conduct vehicle walkarounds and identify recommended maintenance or repair needs. Prepare accurate repair orders and communicate estimated costs and completion times. Explain recommended repairs and maintenance clearly to customers. Obtain customer authorization before performing additional work. Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair status and changes to estimated costs. Coordinate with technicians and the service department to ensure timely completion of repairs. Review completed work with customers and explain services performed. Schedule future maintenance appointments and follow up with customers as needed. Maintain strong CSI/customer satisfaction scores. Meet or exceed individual and department sales and performance objectives.
Stay current on Hyundai vehicles, maintenance schedules, warranty procedures, recalls, and service programs. Qualifications Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred. Hyundai dealership experience is a plus. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to explain automotive repairs in an easy-to-understand manner. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

You should be able to build trust, manage multiple repair orders simultaneously, and work closely with technicians while keeping customers informed throughout the service process.
