Job Description

Hawaiian transportation company with locations in Los Angeles and Hawaii is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Logistics Customer Service representative in the dynamic field of logistics and freight forwarding. This role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career and grow within the industry. While no prior experience is necessary, a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills are essential!
The Basics:
Pay:
20 to 25 per hour
Schedule Full Time/on Site:
Mon-Fri 9 AM to 6 PM (or 10 AM to 7 PM to accommodate Hawaiian hours)

CA Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions promptly and professionally.
Shipment Tracking:
Monitor and track shipments to and from the Hawaiian islands, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to customers.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate and resolve customer concerns, working collaboratively with other departments when necessary. Escalate issues to higher levels as needed.
Industry Learning:
Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the logistics industry, including shipping processes, regulations, and best practices.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer interactions, shipments, and issue resolutions.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination between departments for the efficient handling of shipments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree highly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates with lead, key-holder, or supervisory experience in retail and/or fast food settings encouraged to apply! Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Eagerness to learn and grow within the logistics industry. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
