Customer Experience Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in Indio, California. In this role, you will provide outstanding support to customers by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and managing account-related tasks. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a government-operated water district.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding water services, billing, and account information with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
• Process account updates, service requests, and payments with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Document customer interactions thoroughly and ensure follow-up on unresolved issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve complex service-related concerns.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all customer data and account information.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Provide clear and concise communication across phone, email, and other customer service channels.
• Assist customers with navigating utility billing systems and explain billing details when necessary.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing insights and supporting colleagues as needed.
