SERVICE ADVISOR We're looking for more than just a Service Advisor—we're looking for a customer service expert. The ideal candidate will be as comfortable greeting guests as they are communicating repair details between customers and technicians. If you're passionate about cars and people, this role could be the perfect fit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers promptly and professionally—attitude is everything Clearly listen and document customer concerns and communicate needs to technicians Present additional/recommended services using high-integrity, low-pressure methods Provide accurate repair and maintenance cost estimates Keep customers informed throughout the repair process Ensure proper care and handling of customer vehicles per dealership policies Manage extended warranty claims efficiently Notify customers when vehicles are ready for pickup Review and explain repairs and associated costs clearly Resolve minor customer concerns with professionalism Keep the Service Manager informed of any challenges or escalations Maintain excellent CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores Answer incoming service calls
QUALIFICATIONS
(Preferred but not limited to) Minimum 1 year of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor General Motors experience is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be detail-oriented and organized Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check Commitment to continuous learning and product knowledge Understanding of service quality control and inspection procedures SALARY The Advisor Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $17.00 and $17.00. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.
