Must be open to any shifts! Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier, Customer Service Associate working the 2nd or 3rd shift! Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy. Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring merchandise is well-stocked and properly merchandised. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising displays to enhance store presentation and maximize sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and balancing registers at the end of shifts. Use phone etiquette to answer customer inquiries professionally and assist with store information or directions. Requirements Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math to handle transactions confidently. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. Knowledge of grocery store operations or familiarity with retail environments is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to upsell products and promote store offerings effectively.
