We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will coordinate with technicians to facilitate efficient service while recommending additional maintenance services to ensure proper vehicle care and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Consultative Service:

Greet guests warmly, listen to their concerns, and provide expert recommendations for vehicle maintenance and repair.

Workflow Management:

Coordinate with the Shop Foreman and Technicians to provide accurate cost estimates and timelines.

Message Translation:

Translate customer descriptions of symptoms into clear, complete repair orders for the technicians, and translate the technical findings back in plain language the customer understands, without altering details.

Guest Advocacy:

Maintain transparent, proactive communication via phone, text, and email throughout the service process.

Quality Control:

Conduct final inspections of repair orders and explain all work performed to the guest upon delivery.

Brand Excellence:

Consistently achieve high Customer Service Index (CSI) scores and contribute to the shops reputation for excellence.

Cleanliness:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and a clean guest lounge for customers Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management within a dealership or automotive repair shop. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician is highly desirable. Familiarity with estimating software, computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment. Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, tire service, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repair. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and professionally. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and trust with clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving is essential for test drives or vehicle inspections. Cash handling experience is preferred but not required; attention to detail is critical for accurate transactions.
