Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will contribute to a welcoming experience in our restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing transactions. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a well-organized store. Provide information about products and promotions to enhance customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Address customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve service quality. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and cash register operation is beneficial. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent customer service. Knowledge of phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone is a plus. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about grocery store operations will contribute to your success in this role.
