Job Description

About the job The Customer Service Scheduling Operator supports patient access by answering inbound calls, documenting scheduling requests, and helping streamline appointment scheduling during a high-volume recovery period. We're looking for someone who
  • Has at least 2 years of call center experience in a healthcare setting
  • Is bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Types at least 50 words per minute with strong accuracy and minimal data entry errors
  • Has a basic understanding of medical clinic operations
  • Delivers outstanding customer service with patience, professionalism, and compassion
  • Communicates clearly and maintains confidentiality in all patient interactions
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Is comfortable working independently while following established workflows
  • Can start within one week (preferred) What you'll do
  • Answer inbound patient calls in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Verify patient information and accurately document scheduling requests
  • Enter notes and messages into the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Route scheduling requests to the appropriate scheduling teams
  • Communicate expected follow-up timeframes to patients
  • Escalate urgent clinical or scheduling concerns according to established procedures
  • Support service recovery efforts by helping reduce appointment scheduling backlogs
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all internal processes
  • Provide a positive experience for patients during high call volume periods Physical requirements
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods while answering calls and using a computer
  • Must be able to work at a computer for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • Must be able to use a headset, keyboard, and multiple computer applications simultaneously #
