Job Description As a Security Officer Customer Care Patrol in Mountain View, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine rounds. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following healthcare location policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, visitor procedures, and/or staff directions. Communicate with staff, visitors, patients, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, assistance requests, and/or changing conditions at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
