Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, quick-learning, and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking skills, the ability to multitask efficiently , and a passion for providing excellent client and patient care. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for pet owners and their beloved animals.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in clients and their pets with professionalism and warmth Answer and manage multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments efficiently Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and policies Handle client inquiries and concerns with critical thinking and problem-solving skills Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate records Coordinate with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth clinic operations Maintain a clean and organized reception area Assist with administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and inventory management Handle urgent situations calmly and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements:
Strong critical thinking skills to assess and respond to client needs effectively Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment A quick learner who can adapt to new software, protocols, and procedures Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Minimum of one year prior experience in a veterinary clinic Proficiency in computer systems and scheduling software preferred Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Compassionate and empathetic demeanor towards both pets and their owners
