In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to pick-up. Your ability to communicate clearly, recommend services confidently, and manage repair estimates will help keep our customers satisfied and returning for future service needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine automotive knowledge with sales expertise in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. GM knowledge is required. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Provide accurate vehicle diagnostics and explain necessary repairs using estimating software and technical knowledge Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue Prepare detailed service estimates, write repair orders, and ensure all work is documented thoroughly in dealership management systems Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and communicate updates to customers effectively Handle customer inquiries professionally, addressing concerns about repairs or costs while maintaining a positive rapport GM experience required Requirements Proven experience as a GM Service Advisor or as GM service management role within a dealership or repair shop setting Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, shocks & struts, transmissions, suspension components, and oil change procedures Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools such as CCC ONE or Mitchell is highly desirable Previous experience with auto estimating, service writing, collision repair processes, and automotive diagnostics is essential Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers of varying automotive knowledge levels Dealership experience combined with mechanic or service technician background is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive various vehicle types confidently Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Join us today and become part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding automotive service!
