Job Description
Trust Palmdale Honda seeks a Service Advisor to be the primary contact for customers in our service drive. You'll greet guests, assess vehicle concerns, explain recommended maintenance and repairs, and prepare accurate repair orders. You'll coordinate with technicians, track repair progress, provide timely updates, and review invoices to ensure clarity and transparency. Success in this role requires strong communication, computer and DMS skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset that reflects our culture of integrity, teamwork, and long-term relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers and identify vehicle concerns and service needs Write accurate repair orders and document customer concerns clearly Explain recommended maintenance and repair options with cost estimates Coordinate with technicians on diagnostics, timelines, and work status Communicate updates to customers and manage expectations Review completed work and invoices for accuracy and clarity Advise on maintenance schedules and additional service needs Use DMS and related software to schedule, track, and close repair orders Address customer questions and resolve minor service concerns Support a clean, organized, customer-focused service drive Required Skills Customer service Automotive service writing Repair order creation Service scheduling Dealer management system (DMS) use Upselling maintenance services Basic automotive systems knowledge Invoice review and billing accuracy Verbal and written communication Time management
