A Level Technician (Powersports) Del Amo Motorsports - 3.2 Paramount, CA Job Details $34 - $38 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Employee relationship building High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Level (A) Technician Del Amo Motorsports is a leading Powersports dealership in Southern California within 8 locations in Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Redondo Beach, and San Diego. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following duties for the position listed shall include but are not limited to:) Competent in diagnosing and repairing any product sold in the dealership. Must be able to accurately perform full and complete diagnosis on products in for service. Able to communicate to Service Manager or Writer repairs necessary both verbally and in writing. Ability to train, mentor, and transfer skills to less experienced technicians. Proficient in meeting deadlines and completing work productively and profitably. Ownership of complete set of tools Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department. Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times. Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Computer literate. Technical and / or mechanical expert. Familiarity of product lines sold in dealership.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions present at that time. Work performed in a shop setting, as well as exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives. Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous motorcycle or automobile service experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. This position reports directly to the Service Dept. Manager
