The SAR is responsible for ensuring overall customer satisfaction, retention rates, quality of services delivered, prompt communication, and contract profitability. The SAR will be focused on supporting multiple account managers and/or accounts in selling and managing a mixture of service agreements, quoted repairs, and assisting in facilitating larger replacement and/or improvement projects. This position requires a high-energy, customer-focused, quality-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-workload environment. Responsibilities Participate in job walks, building surveys, and client and/or job site visits with existing customers to assess needs and maintain strong client relationships. Establish regular communication and strong working relationships with both internal and external customers. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Field teams to manage vendors, oversee contracts, and ensure timely execution of work orders and service agreements throughout the account lifecycle. Support customer onboarding by coordinating profiling and account setup, billing coordination, and driving timely invoice collection efforts. Actively manage repairs and maintenance agreements to deliver on schedule and within budget. Accurately enter and maintain all activity in the company's CRM system. Obtain and evaluate multiple vendor quotes for equipment, materials, and subcontractor services to ensure cost-effective solutions. Process product/equipment submittals when required for customer records/approvals. Assist in preparing comprehensive, detailed estimates and proposals that outline labor, materials, and overhead costs, a clear scope of work, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and industry standards while mitigating risk. Compile kickoff meeting documentation and attend the meeting. Participate in contract and Work-In-Progress (WIP) review meetings. Participate in active WIP management. Assemble and submit project closeout documentation when required. Represents the company at designated industry and social events. Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, code changes and best practices to improve service operations. Regularly attend trade-specific training.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, etc.), Construction Management, or related field experience. 1-3 or more years' work experience in inside sales and/or project coordination within a commercial or industrial service provider (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other building trade contractor or vendor). Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, ductwork, piping, refrigeration, and energy efficiency solutions. Basic understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, service processes, and industry standards. Digitally savvy, including excellent PC application skills and the ability to quickly learn numerous custom software applications. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Bluebeam, and Smartsheet as needed for estimating, proposal writing, WIP management, CRM, and general job duties. Skills Analytical and creative thinking to assess risks, develop cost-effective, innovative, and proactive solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills and the ability to clearly convey information to customers, technicians, vendors, and management. Active listening to understand needs and concerns. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Conflict resolution skills to handle workplace challenges. Ability to review performance and identify improvement strategy. Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally within the field.
