Cashier/Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Cashier / Store Associate to join our team at ARCO ampm. This is a brand new gas station opening near Cal State San Bernardino with several positions available including, part time and fulltime. As a Cashier / Store Associate, you will provide excellent customer service while helping keep our store clean, organized, and fully stocked. Team members play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient shopping experience for every customer.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit, debit, lottery, and other transactions. Assist customers with purchases, product questions, and general store inquiries. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise and beverages. Rotate products and monitor expiration dates. Maintain a clean and organized store, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters, cleaning restrooms, and taking out trash. Prepare fresh food and beverage items according to company standards (if applicable). Receive and organize deliveries and restock inventory. Monitor fuel pumps and store activity while following safety and security procedures. Assist with opening and closing duties, including balancing the cash drawer. Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Positive attitude and strong communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
